*ALL positions have been filled for the 2013 season.
Manager: *Current lifeguard, first aid, CPR certifications required. Pool management certification and pool management experience a plus. 21 years or older preferred. Responsible for hiring assistant managers and life guards. Terms and conditions are negotiable based upon qualifications and experience.
Assistant Managers: Current lifeguard, first aid, CPR certifications required. Lifeguarding and pool maintenance skills a plus. 18 years or older preferred. Applications are due 1 March. We expect to hire two assistant managers. Hourly rate is $10.00.
Life Guards: Current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications required. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) a plus. 16 years or older preferred. Applications are due March 1. We expect to hire 9-12 life guards. Hourly rate is $7.50 to $8.10 based on experience.
Swim Lesson Instructors: Water Safety Instructor (WSI) required. Applications are due March 1. 16 years or older preferred. We expect to hire 4-6 swim lesson instructors. Pool will offer two sessions of swim lessons during summer. Hourly rate is $10.00. You will be permitted to offer private lessons as well.
Snack Bar: 14 years or older preferred. Hourly rate is $7.30. Applications are due 1 March. We expect to hire 6 snack bar employees and 2 substitutes.
Head Swim Team Coach: Previous coaching experience required. Ability to lead assistant coaches and help both new and experienced swimmers refine and develop skills. Knowledge of meet procedures and entry procedures. Practices start in late May in the evenings and switch to mornings when school is out. Meets are generally Tuesday and Thursday evenings from mid-June through mid-July.
Assistant Swim Team Coach: Previous coaching experience preferred. Assistants will be required to be in the water with younger or inexperienced swimmers to provide hands-on training. Applications due TBD.
